How to adjust the GT15HZ carburettor

That is the GT15HZ gasoline engine for helicopters. Combining gasoline engine’s advantages with necessary and sufficient high performance, it can be installed in many 91 class helicopters with some small modifications. It is common knowledge that gasoline engine consumes extremely less fuel than the same class glow engine. O.S. thought its benefit would be bigger with helicopter engine which usually runs longer and consumes much more fuel. Our test data show approx. 25 minutes with 300cc fuel tank! We offer this model to beginners, intermediate pilots as well as expert fliers with much confidence. Also, we offer two types silencers at the same time, compact standard type silencer and PowerBoost pipe which enables more powerful flight so that a flier can choose according to the model and flight style.


Special carburetor joint-developed with Walbro It ensures stress free aerobatic flight by securing direct response feeling with sensitive throttle work and by easier tuning.

Compact IG-05 Ignition Module Designed with ignition timing suitable for helicopter engine. Light and compact body and straight plug cap for easier installation in the limited space. With supply voltage 4.8~7.5V, it ensures steady ignition.

PowerBoost Pipe 15HZ O.S. already offers several PowerBoost Pipes for glow helicopter engines. This is especially designed for the GT15HZ to extract 100% of the engine performance for sport fliers.


Gasoline engine generates larger amount of heat. To prevent overheating, large deep-finned head is employed, which ensures steady power supply by cooling entire engine efficiently.

Combining gasoline engine’s advantages with necessary and sufficient high performance, it can be installed in many 91 class helicopters with some small modifications.
